Inconsistencies
When we consider the historical accounts of Jesus, it’s quite remarkable that our primary sources of knowledge are the four books in the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each of these gospels offers a unique perspective on Jesus’ life, weaving together narratives that, while not always perfectly aligned, collectively provide a rich and multifaceted portrayal of his time on Earth. These accounts, with their varied emphases and occasional discrepancies, add both depth and complexity to our understanding of Jesus.
However, the fact that they are our primary sources also introduces some challenges.
