Motocross Star Jayden “Jayo” Archer Passed Away at 27

A rising motocross star Jayden “Jayo” Archer has died at the age of 27. The motocross community of Australia is mourning the loss at this sudden tragic news.

He was a promising athlete known for being the first to land a triple backflip in competition. The Australian rider practicing the trick and making good progress.

Sports media brand Nitro Circus shared on Instagram, “Jayo was the epitome of passion, hard work & determination,” The post also explained, “He pushed what was possible on a dirt bike to heights never seen before. A positive influence to those around him. And above all else a great human being and friend to us all.” Then the post added, “Sending our thoughts and love to Jayo’s family and friends. We love you mate. Ride in peace.”

Nitro Circus is a popular sports media brand which is established by Travis Pastrana. Archer was a member of this sports brand for several years. At first, he was acting as an assistant mechanic. Later, he started performing his first show in 2012. The promising rider successfully performed the triple backflip in 2022 and since then he cemented his place as one of the sports rising stars in this brand. He amused his audience by driving a dirt bike in front of a live audience at the Nitro World Games in Brisbane, Australia.

After his wonderful performance, Archer said, “I cannot describe this feeling. This is so much more than a trick to me. I’ve dedicated my entire life the last three years to this moment. There were many obstacles, broken bones, and knockouts, and I would do it 100 times over to relive that moment again.”

Senior Vice President and GM of Nitro Circus Ricky Melnik said, “No one had a bigger heart or more determination than Jayo.” He also said, “We called him the Incredible Hulk,” Then he continued. “He was a beast on the bike and a gentle giant off it. Watching him go through the process of learning and landing the triple flip in the competition was so inspiring. He wanted to take FMX to the next level and go further than anyone had gone before.”

The athlete will be remembered for his successful performance. He was engaged to his girlfriend Beth Kin and the pair would be married later this year.
