Kate and Prince William were housemates and hung out in the same circle of friends – most of which lived in the same cottage as the two. It was not love at first sight for the two as they have been friends for quite a while and had not considered going beyond that.

Things changed between the two in 2002 when Kate joined a student fashion show. She walked the ramp in a sheer outfit and that caught the attention of William. Rumor has it that William started to see her in a different light from that moment on.
