The palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan became engaged. The engagement took place in London earlier that month. Prince Harry had informed the Queen and other close members of his family and he has also received the blessings of Meghan’s parents.

The two shared that the proposal was nothing fancy – it just happened one quiet night while Meghan was roasting a chicken. The engagement ring has three diamonds – one ethically sourced from Botswana and two diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection.
