Three days before their royal wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan had a private wedding ceremony in their backyard. Nobody knew and they had no guests except the officiant, Archbishop of Canterbury. They wanted a ceremony that was just between the two of us.

It was something they could cherish before the big royal wedding for all the world to see. The Archbishop later confirmed this but also said that the private wedding was not legally binding – their marriage only was official during the actual royal wedding.
