Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were involved in a nearly catastrophic car chase across New York City on May 16, 2023. It happened after the couple left the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards.

Highly aggressive paparazzi started to follow them around which resulted in the car chase. The couple was understandably shocked by the incident, which was quite similar to the way Princess Diana had died in a car accident after being chased down by the paparazzi.
