An Apparently Ordinary Life
There was nothing in George’s past that suggested he would become the focus of a mystery that would last decades. After fighting and surviving in the Korean War, he settled in Lake Grove, Long Island. He lived there in a small house on a suburban street called Olive Street. It seemed he really had it all.
He was a man who, at first glance, led a normal and ordinary life, far from any kind of enigma or serious problem. George was a survivor, a fighter who had found a place in the world, in a peaceful and quiet little corner, where mysteries and enigmas seemed distant.
