The story of the Jim brothers had its genesis in the year 1940. It was a time when the world looked different, and circumstances led to twin boys being born to a mother who had to give them up for adoption. Soon after, adoptive parents were drawn to these infants, eager to bring them into their homes and hearts.
In an unexpected twist of fate, two distinct families chose to adopt one twin each, leading to the brothers being separated. Within a mere three weeks of their birth, the boys found themselves integrated into their new families. Intriguingly, both families, without knowledge of the other’s decision, named their adopted sons “James.” Both would affectionately shorten the name to “Jim” as they grew up.
