Kliff Kingsbury has moved to the Commanders. But he said that he was not out to prove himself as new Commanders. He said that he did this because he enjoyed the game. So, it can be said that Kliff’s return to the NFL as an offensive coordinator makes the NFL world more curious.

However, Kingsbury declined to discuss too deeply into the topic. In his press conference, Kingsbury said, “I don’t want to break him down right now. I’m still trying to evaluate our roster and go through that. I mentioned I loved being around him. Tremendous person. I had fun at USC.”

Kingsbury has been identified as the most desirable to work with at the NFL level. Kingsbury joked, “The Chiefs quarterback. I do think the game, as you can see, you watch those guys, (49ers quarterback) Brock Purdy and him at the end. When money’s on the table you’ve got to be able to make some plays with your feet. Move around enough to escape a bad play.”

He also added, “It doesn’t mean you’ve got to run like Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray. But you better be able to move a little bit and buy yourself some time because the D-line rush the defenses these days are so good. And the intangibles you want the player to be the hardest worker on your team.”

Kingsbury mentioned Williams as a “tremendous person.” So, Kingsbury’s time in Washington does not indicate adding Williams to the roster. Rather it might be the first step into a new era. Kingsbury said details about his return to the NFL. He said, “I don’t. That’s not how I approach it. I do this because I enjoy the game. I enjoy the players and the mentorship. The Sundays. That type of competitive situation. I’ve never gotten into it to prove anybody wrong.”
