Travis Kelce spoke out After Deadly Shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Parade

The NFL star Travis Kelce shared his grief after following the deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl victory parade. One person has died and more than 20 were injured in this lethal shooting incident.

Travis was presented at this 2024 Super Bowl victory rally in Missouri. According to local police, at least one person died and nearly 20 people were wounded. Later Kelce shared his experience when gunfire broke out in the crowd. He also expressed his grief on social media.

The 34-year-old star shared on Twitter, “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected.” Kelce’s mother Donna Kelce as well as his teammates also joined him at the parade for the celebration. Fortunately, his girlfriend Taylor Swift was not present at this rally.

The Chiefs Authority later confirmed that none of their players, staff as well as their families were injured in this shooting. The statement said, “We are truly saddened by the senseless act of violence that occurred outside of Union Station after today’s parade and rally. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City.”

The NFL authority also shared their grief and issued a statement, “Our thoughts are with the victims, and everyone affected. We are grateful for the quick and thorough response of law enforcement and emergency personnel.”

After the attack, law enforcement officials are investigating the incident. They have traced three unidentified people. However, the investigation is continuing. It is suspected that this criminal attack appears as opposed to terrorism. Kansas City Police Department Chief Stacey Graves said in a press conference, “I’m angry at what happened today. The people who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment.”
