Xabi Alonso has become a sought-after choice for top clubs around Europe due to his brilliant performance so far this season. Recently Bayern Munich’s honorary president Uli Hoeness has explored that Xabi Alonso is going to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.
Thomas Tuchel is presently the Bayern boss and he will leave the club at the end of the season. He is seeking a person who is set to end their 11-year dominance of the Bundesliga.
Hoeness said, “Clubs like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Leverkusen, and FC Bayern are working on it,” He also said. “He’s proven that he can be a coach for the big time. There are hardly any coaches who come into question who are currently free, who don’t have a job, or who are on sabbatical. It’s not so easy to tell them that FC Bayern is the measure of all things.”
Furthermore, Xabi Alonso stated about his future in a press conference, “Maybe you have some questions about my future. I’m sorry, but I have nothing new to say.” He also mentioned that he wants to fulfill his contract with Bayer Leverkusen. He added, “I am now, that’s for sure. And there’s nothing new to say about the future. We’ll see. It’s not the right time for me to talk too much about it.”
Xabi Alonso played as a player with Liverpool, Bayern, and Real Madrid. So, his future has been repeatedly linked to those clubs.
